Joint Philadelphia IFT and Pa AACT meeting in Chinatown


We had a great turnout for the dinner meeting at Joy Tsin Lau Chinese Restaurant in Chinatown.


Rose Potts from Blommer Chocolate gave an interesting presentation on cacao and finished chocolate products. She discussed differences in cocoa from varying geographies, covered the various biochemicals that provide antioxidant effects and how they can provide health benefits. She also addressed  legal and regulatory considerations and concerns in finished products.


Following the talk, the restaurant served us a fabulous Chinese banquet, including Peking Duck, Lobster and even Jellyfish. All in all, it was a great evening.
